Mr. Phạm Văn Bảy (76) lives with his wife (70) and her granddaughter and 2 grand grandsons live in remote area of Hoa Binh district of Bac Lieu province – Vietnam. Their livelihood is from selling lottery tickets in district centre. Due to living 10km away from Hoa Binh district’s centre with no means of transport, their income is extremely low and irregular.
The get a ride to district centre whenever they have an opportunity to get a lift from someone in their neighbourhood.
RFL donated a new scooter to assist the family to travel daily to the district centre and to buy and sell lottery tickets.
